#3003 • Three Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad China Olympian Teacup & Saucer Sets

Part of May 2024 Railroadiana Auction (live auction by Rail & Road Auctions)

High bid $60.00

Status: Sold

A set of three china teacups and saucers for the Milwaukee Road in the Olympian design with gold detail. This set was given away to female passengers for help serving tea. The 3 1/4" x 2" teacups are top marked Olympian and bottom stamped Lenox. The 5 5/8" saucers are top marked with the Chicago Milwaukee St. Paul & Pacific box logo in gold and bottom stamped Lenox. All show minimal signs of use but the box logos have a few scratches. Otherwise all the gold detail is in great condition and no chips, cracks, or breaks in the set. One teacup does appear to have a light glaze discoloration imperfection to the right of Olympian. See photos for best description.
