#3078 • Cleveland, Southwestern & Columbus Dressel Railroad Crossing Gate Lamp

Part of May 2024 Railroadiana Auction (live auction by Rail & Road Auctions)

High bid $140.00

Status: Sold

Dressel #248 crossing gate lamp from the Cleveland, Southwestern & Columbus interurban line. The top of the lantern is stamped with CSW&C in serif font. The body has some paint wear and chipping. Equipped with short hoods and two red lenses. The body exhibits one or two shallow dents. The interior is really clean. There are some signs of firing, but this lamp did not see hard or extended use. A nice example.
