Group of railroad dining china for railroads operating on the East coast. Includes a coffee cup and saucer set for Union News Co. by Mayer which operated restaurants at railroad stations throughout the Eastern states. The cup measures 2" tall x 3 3/4" diameter, is side marked on the inside with the UNCO logo, and shows light glaze wear along the rim, a paint imperfection along the side, and a minor chip on the foot. The 5 7/8" saucer shows general signs of use with utensil scratches, glaze wear and light discoloration along the edge.A 3 3/8" butter pat for Atlantic Coast Line Railroad in the Flora of the South pattern, bottom marked Buffalo Made Especially For Atlantic Coast Line Railroad A 12 H. Shows mild scratches discoloration along the edge, and leftover adhesive marks on the bottom.No other notable chips, cracks, or breaks. See photos for best description.
