Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad items includes a 2 1/4" tall demitasse cup in the George Washington pattern, showing standard signs of use with wear along the top of the gold edge detail and a few utensil marks. A 6 1/4" octagonal tea cup platter tray bottom stamped Buffalo Made Expressly For Chesapeake and Ohio RR DGR, showing moderate wear to the gold detail, discoloration along the edge, and mild scratches from use.Group also includes a tea cup and saucer for the Chicago, Milwaukee, & St. Paul Railroad from the Olympian trains. The teacup is top marked CM&StP, bottom stamped Limoges France, measures 3 1/2" x 1 3/4", and shows light wear to the gold at the top of the handle and mild wear to the gold along the bottom of the handle from handling. The saucer is top marked The Olympian, bottom stamped Limoges France, and measures 5". The saucer shows minimal signs of use with only light discoloration on the bottom from stacking. The gold detail is in great condition. No chips, cracks, or breaks. See photos for best description.
