#6384 • Keystone Pennsylvania Railroad Lantern with Clear Cast Globe

Part of October 2024 Railroadiana - Day 2 (live auction by Rail & Road Auctions)

High bid $80.00

Status: Sold

Keystone "Casey" Railroad lantern with P RR embossed on the shoulder. Body has been cleaned. Latest patent date embossed on the shoulder reads June 2, 1903. Burner pot and fount are all present. Lantern does have the correct Keystone wick-raising fount; fount does rotate albeit a bit tight in spots. Clear Macbeth 36 pearl glass extended base globe has Pennsylvania Railroad keystone cast in a medium strike on the front. Globe has a minor chip on the bottom edge, but otherwise great condition.
