Dietz No. 39 Railroad Lantern with a brass top, bell bottom and C&M RR embossed on the shoulder. C&M could stand for Chicago & Milwaukee, or Cleveland & Mahoning, Columbia & Montour, Caledonia & Mississippi, or other C&M railroads. Frame has five short cracks in the brass top, three dents in the bell bottom, and visible flux / solder in several spots, including wire joins, the top of the bell bottom, and the base of the vertical supports. Fuel pot and fount are present. The tall red globe is unmarked and has mild chipping / wear at both ends.
