This pair of items from the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad train ferry service presents in excellent condition with little-to-no utensil or glaze wear present. Saucer, bottom marked Syracuse, measures 5-3/4" with no utensil or stacking wear, and the pattern is strong throughout. Cup measures 3-1/8", and is also bottom marked "Syracuse." Glaze is generally clean and clear with only minimal utensil wear present on the interior. Pattern is clean and strong throughout, with few small manufactured defects present.
